Whooping Cough Vaccine in Pregnancy

Atrium Medical Practice has updated guidance to reflect that pregnant women should now get pertussis ( whooping cough ) vaccine from 16 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. If you miss this window, it is still possible to have it up to labour, although the effectiveness is possibly slightly less. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse to get this done.
