The doctors and practice nurse offer a wide range of family planning services and appointments can be made in normal surgery hours.

Cervical Smears

Woman between 20 and 60 years of age will be invited to attend for a smear every five years.  You can make an appointment for this with the practice nurse.

BABY CLINIC

Carers

We would like to know if you are providing voluntary care for someone. Our aim is to provide support for carers in their caring role and help carers protect their own health by way of an annual health check with the Practice Nurse

Child Health Surveillance

You will be invited to bring your child to the surgery to have a development check by a GP at around 6 weeks old.  The Health Visitor also carries out development checks when children reach 2 years and 4 years.  These are carried out either at a community clinic or at your home. Child immunisations are carried out in a central clinic in Coatbridge Health Centre.  You will receive an invitation to take your child along.  The GPs strongly urge you to protect your child by getting them fully vaccinated.

Baby Friendly

You are welcome to breastfeed your baby in the surgery.
