Access to Medical Records
Patients have the right to see and/or get a copy of their medical records, unless their doctor thinks disclosure would be harmful to their health. Please ask at reception for an information leaflet. There may be an administration charge for copies.

All staff working within the NHS have a professional and legal duty to maintain the confidentiality of your personal health information. A copy of our privacy statement is available at reception.

To ensure that you receive the best possible care, there may be occasions where is it important to share this information e.g. when you have agreed to treatment which requires communication with other health professionals, protecting and monitoring public health, investigating complaints or legal claims, audit and training. If you do not wish this information to be disclosed please speak with the Practice Manager or GP.
