If you require urgent medical attention or advice outside of the surgery opening hours, THAT WILL NOT WAIT UNTIL THE SURGERY REOPENS, then you should telephone the usual practice number, 421211 or  the out of hours' service directly on 111.

A recorded message will give you the number to dial of the out of hours’ service or NHS 24. You can contact NHS 24 directly by telephoning 111.   A nurse advisor will pass your details to a doctor who will assess the request.

House visits will be arranged only if the out of hours GP feels it is necessary.  Please remember that the treatment centre is not intended as a ‘drop in’ service.  You should always telephone first.
