Working Together
We aim to provide you with the best service we can.
To achieve this, we acknowledge that:
- You have the right to be treated with courtesy, dignity and respect at all times, and not to be discriminated against on the grounds of age, sex, religion, gender, race or medical condition
- You should not be kept waiting unnecessarily and be informed if surgeries or clinics are running late
- You have the right to request a home visit if you are too ill to attend the surgery or are housebound.
- Your repeat medication should be ready for collection 48 hours (2 working days) after placing the request at the surgery. Check with your pharmacy for their turnaround time.
We hope you will assist us in achieving these aims by:
- Extending the same courtesy and politeness to our practice team
- Keeping your appointment or letting us know in advance if you are unable to attend
- Attending for your screening and medication reviews when invited to do so
- Ordering your repeat prescription in good time
- Only requesting a home visit when it is necessary
- Not mis-using emergency or urgent appointments
- Keeping us informed of changes of address or contact numbers
The Partners will not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour towards any member of staff or member of the general public visiting the practice. Behaviour of this kind will result in removal from the practice list.
